I have 25 years of experience in leadership and management. Since 2011, I have coached social leaders in education, philanthropy, social entrepreneurship, community development, economic sustainability, the environment, public health, STEM, the United Nations, and the arts.
I have served as a coach for the Fundación Banco Popular’s Community for Collaboration and Social Innovation (CCIS) and facilitator for the Puerto Rico Children and Youth Task Force.
I am on the global Board of Directors for ICF Coaching Education and the ICF Global Diversity Council. I have been an Ambassador for the ICF Foundation.
I am an ICF-MCC (Master Certified Coach from the International Coaching Federation) with a BA (History & Literature) and an MBA from Harvard University. I hold additional certificates in Conscious Business Leadership Coaching, Group Coaching, Higher Ground Leadership Coaching, ICF PCC Assessor Training, Social Innovation, MOOC Development, and Critical Issues in Urban Education. In 2024, I was awarded the Ellen Shub Award for Coaching for Social Good by the Harvard/McLean Institute of Coaching. I have over 25 years of experience across law, business, education, and leadership. I have been a federal judicial law clerk, the owner and general manager of a million-dollar retail business, a university instructor, a classroom teacher, a nonprofit board member, and a school administrator. My diverse career has given me deep insight into leadership, resilience, and the complexities of change.
I have served as Dean of Instruction at a high-performing Title I K-12 charter school and have worked extensively in leadership development, coaching, and facilitation. I am an International Coaching Federation (ICF) Professional Certified Coach (PCC) and a trained transformational coach through the Blue Mesa Transformational Coaching Program. I also hold a BA (Literature) from Harvard University, a JD and an MA (Comparative Literature) from the University of Puerto Rico.
